Accolades: Latest and Greatest

So fortunate to have such wonderful clients and colleagues....

"I have worked with TRE Architecture on numerous projects in the San Diego County. I am extremely impressed with their creative, cutting-edge, ideas and solutions for their clients. They are also great liason between client and other professionals (ie: engineers, city, etc).   I would highly recommend TRE Architecture for any construction project (single-family, commercial)."

I am a general contractor and have had the pleasure of working with this architectural firm for over 10 years. They have an amazing eye for detail, and exceptional taste in design. It's always nice to build a home from their plans. The plans are easy to follow and include the necessary information I need to build a home. I consider TRE to be the first architect I choose to work with, and the first I refer to anyone seeking plans for a new project.

Allan (TRE architecture) designed a home for us in a gated community in San Diego. I've built more than once and found him to be the best communicator of any architect I've ever worked with, and I find that communication is vitally important to the designing and building process.

Allan (TRE architecture) was prompt & professional at all of our meetings, and has a talent for listening to the desires of his clients. He has a tactful way of working with the husband in wife (as he did in our case) and get everyone on the same page, even though a marriage counselor might have been needed on some days!!

Allan (TRE architecture) has great vision and skill and we enjoyed working with him.

Accolades: New Client Review on Houzz.com

I have been in construction and around construction for many years. I have also known Allan for over ten years. So when it came time to design my own personal home, I had a number of Architects I could have called. I chose Allan with Tre. Allan is a great designer with great vision. He is extremely easy to work with and he listens. If I ever build again I will call Allan with Tre Architecture.

Accolades: New Review on Houzz.com

New review from a wonderful client.

Allan (TRE architecture) created an incredible home for us, but he went above and beyond the call of duty in its planning and completion. He spent hours going over our ideas to make sure we got exactly the home we wanted, he spent days making adjustments to his original plans as we changed and adjusted our ideas, and he spent weeks dealing with our city, wading through their contradictory building codes. I can't speak highly enough of Allan's style, talent and professionalism. We are so lucky to have found him.

Pictures of this great home are forthcoming.  Thanks Jim and Anita!!

Remodel transforms Leucadia property into a tropical paradise

By Lillian Cox, Special to the U-T5:17 P.M.JULY 11, 2014, photo by Eduardo Contreras

The aloha spirit wafts blithely through ginger and banana leaves in Barb and Bill Probert’s tropical paradise. Aloha means “the joyful sharing of life energy in the present.”

Inspired by a love of Kauai, three years ago the couple took a termite-infested home on an old avocado grove in Leucadia and transformed it into a Hawaiian plantation house. It is their third home since they married in 1987. They hope it will be their last.

“We were in our 60s at the time and wanted the home to be one story,” Bill recalled. “Then we saw the ocean view and decided to add a second floor.”

Allan Teta (TRE architecture) was tapped to design the 3,400-square-foot remodel.

“We went in with a storyboard of personal photos from Hawaii and others from magazines,” Bill said. “Allan got right with our vision.”

The floor plan for the first floor included a dining room with a wine room, expansive kitchen and great room with a slider that opens to the large outdoor seating area, lanai and guesthouse. There is also a media room and two bedrooms. The second floor has a home office and master suite with an outdoor deck and pass-through between the walk-in closet and laundry room...

Announcement: The launch of TRE architecture

teamteta1 (1).png

We are very proud to announce that the name of our firm is changing from Teta Architecture Inc. to TRE architecture, effective on January 1, 2014.

Derived from the Italian translation of the number three,   TRE reflects not only an expansion in the firm and a reference to the founder's Italian heritage, but a larger re-branding effort to emphasize the firm's commitment to inspired architecture.  The ancient Roman architect Vitriuvius described the three principles of design:  Durability, Function and Beauty.   These three principles guide the firm. TRE is fitting, simple and memorable.

Celebrating over 45 years of business excellence, we have provided the Southern California area with creative and comprehensive architectural solutions.  TRE architecture will continue to serve our clients with the same devotion and quality which you have come to expect from us. It will be a pleasure to work with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Amato Teta and Allan Teta
co-Founders, TRE architecture

Joining Forces: Rick Suda

In late 2013, Rick Suda, Licensed Architect, joined up with TRE architecture.  Rick brings a deep wealth of experience in both the public and private sector.  His expertise in building construction blends perfectly with TRE's comprehensive approach.  Rick and Allan previously worked together at Innis-Tennebaum Architects.  Rick is a very close personal friend, colleague, and also the godfather to Allan's two daughters;  the ideal addition to the TRE family.
